UPDATE: Only One Naugatuck CL&P Customer Without Power

CL&P working tonight to restore all customers.

All but one Connecticut Light & Power customers have power restored from yesterday's storm.

CL&P reported on its website that more than 2,400 Naugatuck customers were without power on Wednesday and the number may have risen even higher during the afternoon. But as of 1:20 p.m. Thursday, less than 24 hours after power started going out in Naugatuck, only one customer was still without power.

CL&P had crews in the borough shortly after power went out when a transformer that serves much of the east side of town blew on Cherry Street.
