Naugatuck Police Blotter: April 10

Police make a pair of narcotics arrests.

The following list of arrests was provided by the public information officer at the Naugatuck Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a conviction and the charges are allegations until proven otherwise in a court of law.

WOMAN CHARGED WITH OXYCODONE POSSESSION
Amanda Holland, 24, 45 Delaware Ave., Waterbury, was charged with possession of narcotics and not having narcotics in the original container after police said she was caught on April 9 in possession of oxycodone hydrochloride pills that weren’t in a properly labeled prescription bottle. Holland was a passenger in a car that police pulled over at Exit 29 on Route 8 north just before 3 a.m. She was released on a $1,000 non-surety bond and was scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on April 18.

WOMAN CHARGED WITH POSSESSION OF PILLS
Kathleen Stolzenberger, 40, 343 Spring St., Naugatuck, was charged with possession of a controlled, non-narcotics substance after police pulled her over at 9:09 p.m. on April 9. Police said Stolzenberger was in possession of Clonazepam pills. She was held on a $500 surety bond and was scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on April 10.

MAN CHARGED WITH GIVING COPS FALSE NAME
Christopher Norton, 37, 120 Warren Ave., Naugatuck, was charged with criminal impersonation, interfering with an officer, violation of probation and second-degree failure to appear after police pulled him over at 12:54 a.m. on April 10. Police said Norton gave police a false name and date of birth. He was wanted out of Derby Superior Court for charges related to violating his probation. Norton was taken into custody and held on a total $45,500 bond. He was scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on April 10.
