Naugatuck Police Blotter: Feb. 4-6

The following information was provided by the public information officer at the Naugatuck Police Department. They are allegations until proven otherwise in a court of law.

 

DISTURBANCE ENDS IN ARREST
Dominic Wells, 23, 20 Washington St., and Ricky Wells, 26, 67 Nancy Lane, both of Naugatuck, were each charged with a breach of peace on Feb. 3 after police responded to 67 Nancy Lane for a domestic disturbance between brothers. The two were accused of yelling and pushing each other in the street, disturbing the neighbors, police said. The Wells were each released on $1,500 non-surety bonds and were due to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Feb. 6. Dominic Wells was later charged with a criminal violation of a protective order after police said he was at the home without permission to be there. For this, he was held on a $25,000 surety bond and was also due in court on Feb. 6 to answer to that charge.

WOMAN CHARGED WITH FAILURE TO APPEAR
Danielle Santos, 40, 138 Charles St., Waterbury, was charged with second-degree failure to appear on Feb. 3 after she turned herself in to police on a warrant. Santos was released on a $3,500 surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Feb. 10.

MAN CHARGED WITH THREATENING
Kevin Murowsky Jr., 24, 40 Summerfield St., Naugatuck, was charged with threatening and a breach of peace on Feb. 3 after police responded to 67 Nancy Lane for a complaint. Police said Murowsky wanted to fight a victim and made a threat to kill the family of the victim did not come out. He was released on a $5,000 surety bond and was scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Feb. 15.

YOUTH CHARGED WITH INTERFERING WITH A 911 CALL
A Naugatuck juvenile was charged with disorderly conduct and interfering with an emergency call on Feb. 3 after police responded to a Galpin Street home for a disturbance between a mother and son. The juvenile is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Juvenile Court, although no date was available.

WOMAN CHARGED WITH VIOLATING A PROTECTIVE ORDER
Amanda Ford, 24, 61 School St., Naugatuck, was charged with a violation of a protective order on Feb. 3 after police responded to 20 Washington St. Ford was released on a $1,000 non-surety bond and was scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Feb. 6.

MAN CHARGED WITH ASSAULT
David Krantz, 41, 25 Marsh Hill Road, Naugatuck, was charged with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault after police responded to his home for a report of a disturbance on Feb. 3. According to police, Krantz pulled a victim to the floor and punched a hole in the wall. He was released on a $2,500 non-surety bond and was scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Feb. 6.

DUI CHARGE ON NEW HAVEN ROAD
Frank Crozier, 44, 444 Cook Ave., Meriden, was charged with driving under the influence and a failure to drive upon the right after police pulled him over on New Haven Road on Feb. 4 at 1:45 a.m. Crozier was released on a $500 non-surety bond and was scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Feb. 16.

WOMAN BUSTED WITH ALLEGED SYRINGES
Debora Devino, 45, 156 Johnson St., Naugatuck, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia on Feb. 4 after police pulled her over on Maple Street. Police said Devino was in possession of syringes. She was released on a $1,000 surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Feb. 15.

MAN CHARGED WITH DAMAGING HOME
David Ismail, 30, 7 Orchard Terrace, Naugatuck, was charged with disorderly conduct and interfering with an officer on Feb. 4 after police responded to his home for a domestic disturbance. Police said Ismail became upset, damaged a sliding closet door and ripped blinds from the windows. He also refused to give police his property while being processed at the Naugatuck Police Department, police said. Ismail was held on a $2,500 surety bond and was scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Feb. 6.

MAN CHARGED WITH DUI ON BRIDGE STREET
Vincent Maltese, 40, 8 Emily Ave., Oakville, was charged with a failure to drive in the proper lane, driving under the influence, driving with a suspended license and violating a stop sign after police pulled him over on Bridge Street on Feb. 4. He was released on a $500 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Feb. 16.

MAN CHARGED WITH DUI ON SOUTH MAIN STREET
William Carter, 48, 707 Elm St., New Haven, was charged with driving under the influence and a failure to have lights lit on Feb. 5 after police pulled him over at 1:30 a.m. on New Haven Road. Carter was released on a $500 non-surety bond and was scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Feb. 16.
