Naugatuck Police Blotter: Nov. 26-28

The following information was provided by the public information officer at the Naugatuck Police Department. They are allegations until proven otherwise in a court of law.

 

LARCENY
Richard Rompre, 64, 171 Acme Drive, Naugatuck, was charged with sixth-degree larceny on Nov. 23 in connection with an incident on Sept. 28 at Big Y. Police said he stole $114.92 worth of baby formula. Rompre was released on a promise to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Sept. 7.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT
Luismael Loyola, 34, 15 Winslow Court, Naugatuck, was charged with disorderly conduct on Nov. 23 after police responded to a domestic disturbance. Loyola was released on a $2,500 non-surety bond and was scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Nov. 25.

DUI
Gerald Williams, 24, 245 Walnut St., Waterbury, was charged with driving under the influence, driving with a suspended license, not having proper insurance and driving an unregistered car on Nov. 23 after police investigated a suspicious motor vehicle on Rubber Avenue Extension. Williams was released on a $500 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Dec. 1.

FAILURE TO APPEAR
Timothy Dobson, 23, 7125 Whispering Trees, Valencia, Calif., was charged with second-degree failure to appear on Nov. 24. Dobson was released on a $750 surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Derby Superior Court on Dec. 7.

DUI
Jeffrey Joyce 40, 25 Moonlight Circle, Naugatuck, was charged with driving under the influence and a failure to drive in the proper lane on Nov. 24 after police responded to Evening Star Drive for accident. Joyce was released on a $500 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Dec. 8.

USING A MOTOR VEHICLE WITHOUT PERMISSION
Ryan Edwards, 23, 167 Wildwood Circle, Naugatuck, was charged with use of a motor vehicle without permission on Nov. 24 after police responded to a complaint on City Hill Court of a vehicle taken without the owner’s permission. Edwards was released on a $1,000 surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Dec. 7.

DUI
Steven Peyre, 19, 22 Orchard St., Naugatuck, was charged with driving under the influence and possession of alcohol by a minor on Nov. 25 after police responded to a call of a loud car stereo at 22 Diamond St. Peyre was released on a $500 surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Dec. 8.

ASSAULT
Natalie Renteria, 25, 9201 West Washington, Tolleson, Ariz., was charged with disorderly conduct, third-degree assault and criminal violation of a protective order on Nov. 25 after police responded to 45 Rustling Reed Road for a report of a domestic disturbance. Renteria was released on a $1,500 non-surety bond and was scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Nov. 28.

ASSAULT
Brandon Colbert, 23, 45 Rustling Reed Road, Naugatuck, was charged with disorderly conduct, third-degree assault and criminal violation of a protective order on Nov. 25 after police responded to 45 Rustling Reed Road for a report of a domestic disturbance. Colbert was released on a $25,000 surety bond and was scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Nov. 28.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS
Christopher Matos, 34, 64 Nancy Lane, Naugatuck, was charged with disorderly conduct and first-degree criminal trespass on Nov. 26 after police were dispatched to 66 Nancy Lane for an unwanted party. Matos was held on a $25,000 surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Nov. 28.

ASSAULT
Eric Pongonis, 38, 1 Bradley Lane, Sandy Hook, was charged with third-degree assault, disorderly conduct and second-degree criminal mischief on Nov. 26 after police responded to a City Hill Street home for a report of a disturbance. Pongonis was released on a promise to appear in Waterbury Superior court on Dec. 7.

VIOLATION OF PROBATION
Randal Ruelle, 43, 668 New Haven Road, Naugatuck, was charged with two counts of a violation of probation on Nov. 26 after police took him into custody from his home. Ruelle was held on a total $5,000 cash bond and was scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Nov. 28.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT
Ollisa Bonner, 29, 440 South Main St., Naugatuck, was charged with disorderly conduct on Nov. 27 after police responded to her home for a report of a domestic disturbance. Bonner was released on a $500 non-surety bond and was scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Nov. 28.

DUI
Wayne Zabilski, 32, 102 Spring St., Naugatuck, was charged with driving under the influence, driving with a suspended license, a failure to display plates and not having proper insurance after police pulled him over on North Main Street on Nov. 28. Zabilski was released on a $1,500 surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Dec. 8.
