We're looking for your favorite locations in Naugatuck to snag a slice or a full pie.
There's no shortage of good pizza places in Naugatuck. Mendano's, Adrianna's and Vinny's are just a few of them.
With so many locales to choose from, we want to know which ones you like best. So, for this week's "Best Of" column, we ask our readers "Who has the best pizza in Naugatuck?"
Like last week, when we first launched the "Best Of" column, we ask you to leave a comment below on your top choice. Then we pick the top mentioned pizza restaurants, which will be then used in a Patch poll.
We'll run the poll on Friday from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. and you can choose from those top picks. We'll announce the winner on Saturday.

To me it is about the pizza style. The best for the Greek style pizza is Mike's. When it comes to a New Haven/New York style pizza Mendano's is excellent.

We really like A-1 and Adrianna's but we grew up in PA and are used to New-York style. These are closest to home for us!

I've always loved A-1 pizza..........UNTIL they sent a smart mouthed kid to deliver the pie. I handed him a $20 bill and he asked "how much do you want back?" I was floored! I never had anyone ask me that............so I said "give me back $6 dollars, and let him take the rest. I'll never order from A-1 again. This kid is such a bad employee.........he'll ruin the delivery business in no time at all. Sorry A-1. You were really good.

I hope you called A-1 and told them about this. This is information that business need to know, especially if they start to lose alot of business because of this kid.

We had a problem with the young man that delivered from A-1 as well..........he, too, asked "How much do you want back?" and my husband was shocked! This is not the way A-1 pizza has operated in the past. We have been ordering our pies more locally now, although we are not as pleased as we were with the A-1 pies. Still, it's not good business to have an employee ruin your business with his rude replies. I'm hoping that this young man has found another job where he doesn't have to deal with the public......

A-1 for taste. Paesano's has the best crust if you it eat there. Mario's is good and has the best deal.

I agree with Barbra Macri, When I first moved to Naugy,IT took me a while to get used to the pizza here also, coming from WestHaven, Used to PEPES SALLYS and Modern. ZUPPARDIS too! but MENDANOS COMES very very close to newhaven style Italian Apizza....LOVE MENDANOS

I love bellissimos, vinny's,and guiseppies never ever mendanos ever the owner is a not a man of his word took forever to deliver then cold pie, said he'd get us money back if we got a cold pie, I wanted to cancel order he told me I could not ,horrible service and I will never go there, I make sure everyone knows how he operates
