DESCRIPTION:Sponsored by the Naugatuck Arts Commission\, the Naugatuck Co
 mmunity Band provides instrumentalists from the entire valley region an 
 opportunity to get together and make beautiful music.\nNaugatuck native\
 , Charles Marenghi the serves as the artistic director. Rehearsals&nbsp\
 ; take place on Thursday nights at City Hill Middle School from 7 - 9:30
  PM. There is a modest annual fee for membership.\nThe NCB plays a blend
  of classic and popular concert band music with at least 3 major&nbsp\;c
 oncert programs&nbsp\;each year. There are also oppertunities for small 
 group performances featuring our jazz ensemble\, woodwind group\, and br
 ass ensemble.\nThe Naugatuck Community Band is open to all Connecticut m
 usicians\, aged 14 and older. You do not need to be a resident of Naugat
 uck to participate in the band.\nCurrently\, the band has a&nbsp\; need 
 for those that play clarinet\,&nbsp\;alto sax\, trombone\,&nbsp\;and per
 cussion.&nbsp\; However\, all players\, regardless of skill level or ins
 trument are encouraged to come join us.\nIf you are interested in joinin
