Pulitzer Prize-Winner Stops at NVCC on International Tour

It's not every day that a Pulitzer Prize-Winner pops in to your local community college to talk about their most recent work, but such will be the case on Thurs., Nov. 14 at 6 p.m. when Junot Diaz takes the Mainstage at Naugatuck Valley Community College.

"An Evening With Junot Díaz,” sponsored by the NVCC student newspaper, The Tamarack, will begin with a welcome reception at 6 p.m. followed by readings and conversations with the author beginning at 7 p.m.

"Having an author of Junot Díaz's reputation has the entire staff of The Tamarack excited about his visit,” said Ken Morse, editor of The Tamarack. “It's an honor for us to be hosting an event like this."
