Seeking Help for Goose in Naugatuck

I am hoping to get word out to help a goose with a broken wing at Baummer's Pond on Mill Street in Naugatuck.

Today, he was all alone; no other geese were around. I fear he will not make it through the winter if he cannot fly.

I contacted Ansonia Nature Center, and I am hoping they will be able to capture and rehabilitate him.

I'm contacting the Patch because I am hoping someone out there might know of others who may be able to help.

My 12-year-old named him (assuming it is a boy), Winger.  Thank you!
