Local students Amy Sciongar (Visual Arts) and Mirancia Jang (Performing Arts) from Naugatuck High School, were two of 350 top Connecticut seniors who excel in the arts that were honored at the Connecticut Association of Schools (CAS) High School Outstanding Arts Awards Banquet held on April 9th at the Aqua Turf in Southington.

The CAS Outstanding Arts Awards Banquet annually recognizes two seniors in each high school for outstanding ability in the performing or visual arts. The students are chosen by their school to receive this honor. The banquet, with over 1,400 in attendance, is sponsored by Jostens.
