The Naugatuck Park & Recreation Commission will be hosting a Pitch Hit & Run Competition on May 1, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Naugatuck High School.

- PARTICIPATION IS FREE
- 4 LEVELS OF COMPETITION: Local, Sectional, Team Championship (MLB Ballparks) & National Finals (2011 MLB All-Star Game)
PITCH….Throw strikes to a designated target
HIT.. ……Hit from a stationary batting tee for distance and accuracy
RUN…… Sprint from 2nd base to home plate for time
