On Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, Naugatuck Firefighters Local 1219 will conduct its annual toy drive for kids. This event is being held on the Naugatuck Green from 10 am until 2 p.m.
Santa will be arriving at noon, and there will be other events going on throughout the day.
The Naugatuck Fire Department hand out fire safety information; the Connecticut State Police will be there with Accident Convincers (which simulates a crash), and Connecticut CHIP child identification will be available.
New unwrapped toys, books, or clothes will be accepted and greatly appreciated. Please come out and help us to help those less fortunate have a happy holiday.
