VFW 1946 Fisher House Fund Raiser

 

VFW Post 1946 82nd.
Birthday and Fund Raiser

VFW Post 1946 in Naugatuck will be celebrating the Post’s 82nd
Birthday and holding a Fund Raiser. This event will help raise funds for the
Fisher House to be built on the grounds of the West Haven Veterans
Administration Hospital.

 

The Fisher house is used for free by wounded military

personnel, veterans and their families. They will be able to stay there while
visiting a wounded family member who is being treated at the hospital. Wounded
military or veterans may also stay there to be near family members.

The event will be held on December 8th from 12
noon to 5pm at the Post located at 239 Rubber Avenue in Naugatuck. There is a
$10 donation requested. Food and refreshments will be available. Cash Bar.
