Waterbury Regional Chamber to Host STEM/Advanced Manufacturing & Technology Expo & Out for Business Networking Event Nov. 15

2012 STEM/ADVANCED MANUFACTURING & TECHNOLOGY EXPO 8 AM to 4 PM & WATERBURY REGIONAL CHAMBER’S OUT FOR BUSINESS NETWORKING EVENT 5 to 7 PM on Thursday, November 15 at Coco-Key Water Resort, Hotel and Convention Center at 3580 East Main Street in Waterbury.

Hosted by the Waterbury Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Manufacturing Council, the Expo from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. will feature interactive manufacturing and technology company exhibits and demonstrations, and will provide opportunities to learn about job opportunities and career paths in the manufacturing and technology sectors in Connecticut (STEM=Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). Attendees will be able to meet and network with local area manufacturing and technology firms. Admission is free.

The Expo will be immediately followed by the Chamber’s Out for Business Networking event from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. and will include hors d’oeuvres and drinks. Admission is $20 for members pre-registered; $25 for Chamber members post-billed; and $35 for non-Chamber attendees.
