Purple Tie Day

A group of men from Sikorsky Aerospace Services recently wore purple ties to work during Domestic Violence Awareness Month to show their support of The Center for Women and Families, the nonprofit in Bridgeport, Easton, Fairfield, Monroe, Stratford and Trumbull that works daily to turn victims of domestic and sexual assault into survivors. The goal of Purple Tie Day is to increase awareness about the issue and to stop violence before it starts.
