The Watermark at East Hill Hosts Book Signing for Author of "Wicked New Haven"

On Tuesday, February 25, The Watermark at East Hill will welcome local author Michael Bielawa to discuss his newly published book, Wicked New Haven. The event will take place at the retirement community located at 611 East Hill Road in Southbury.

 

Wicked New Haven explores the history of the Elm City, highlighting stories of folklore and urban legends. Throughout its history, New Haven has been the setting for a number of mysterious tales, some of which include pirates, grave robbers and hauntings at Yale University.

“Michael’s fascinating collection of stories on the supernatural history of New Haven is sure to make for an interesting discussion,” said Michelle Bettigole, Executive Director of The Watermark at East Hill. We are excited to have him visit to discuss this book, as well as to talk about all the work that goes into getting a book published.”

Bielawa has worked for more than 20 years in the magazine, newspaper and business writing industry, primarily writing about the topics of baseball and paranormal activity. He has also previously lectured at The Watermark at 3030 Park retirement community in Bridgeport during their acclaimed Book & Author series.

 

Following the discussion, Bielawa will be available to sign copies of his book.
