The Watermark at East Hill Hosts March Discovery Luncheon

Seminar to provide first-hand account of retirement living

On Thursday, March 6, The Watermark at East Hill will host its Discovery Luncheon, a seminar on retirement living for adults ages 55 and older and their family members. The event will begin at 11:30 a.m. at the retirement community, located at 611 East Hill Road in Southbury.

The Discovery Luncheon will feature guest speaker Patricia “Pat” Beane, a resident at The Watermark since August 2013. A long-time resident of Oxford, Patricia will discuss her personal experience at The Watermark community and how she continues to thrive in her retirement.

“The decision to move to a retirement community can sometimes be a stressful or overwhelming one to make,” said Michelle Bettigole, Executive Director of The Watermark at East Hill. “This seminar allows seniors and their families to ask questions and discuss their options with our residents who have already gone through the same process.”

Seminar attendees are invited to stay for lunch prepared by The Watermark’s chef, and can also arrange for a tour of the community.
