On Tuesday, June 10, a cat showed up at a home in the City Hill area of Naugatuck and has not left yet.

Stacey Lynn shared a photo on the Naugatuck Patch Facebook page and wrote:

"It is a male. He's extremely friendly, has a nice coat and isn't malnourished so it's someone's cat. He does however have a large lump on his left ear. Hope we find him his owner and return him home."

Anyone with information may message Stacey Lynn on her Facebook page.

We have four cats hanging around our neighborhood - I've been told that they were left behind by a family that moved out on Ruela Drive.......We have been feeding them, and I have taken one to the vet for shots. Not sure who to call for help with these poor animals.........I certainly do not want 4 cats!!!

Chris - call the Animal Officer and find a contact for a local cat rescue. I know there's one in town, just don't know the name of it. You can reach the Animal Officer at 729-4324.
