Eve Before Eve Event to Raise Money for Grad Nite

The event will be held on on Dec. 29 at the Elks Lodge in Naugatuck.

 

The Elks Lodge in Naugatuck will hold a fundraiser for Naugatuck High School's Grad Nite, an annual event that gives senior students a safe place to be on the night of graduation.

The Eve Before the Eve event for adults will be held at Naugatuck Elks Lodge No. 967 at 758 Rubber Ave. from 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 29 to 12:30 a.m. on Dec. 30. The event includes a New Year's theme. The attire is black, red or white. Tickets are $35 per person which includes hot and cold appetizers and beer and wine. Entertainment will be the Rubber City Blues Band.

Naugatuck resident Heidi Langlais is running the event along with a committee consisting of Julie Sampaio, Kim Pruchnicki, Sue Ascencao, Kim Best, Laurie Taf Jackson and Lisa Plasky. Any of them can be concacted for tickets, along with Jim Goggin, J.J. Martin of the Rubber City Blues Band or Joan Doback, chair of the Naugatuck Education Foundation.
