A Naugatuck Patch Facebook user recently asked: "I was wondering if there is a Mister Softee in Naugatuck and how do we get them to come down our street?"
We called up Mister Softee of Connecticut in Bridgeport and found out that getting Mister Softee in your town is as simple as giving them a ring.
Brittney Goncalves of Mister Softee of Connecticut said that if you call up with a "specific date and time" someone will "write down your info" and do their best to make sure that a Mister Softee truck is in your neighborhood when you need them.
There are 10 to 12 Mister Softee trucks throughout Connecticut and 650 throughout the country, according to Mister Frosty Vice President Jim Conway.
"All trucks are independently owned and franchised," Conway said.
