Whimsicality: A Theatre For Young Actors, in association with Watertown Recreation presents Schoolhouse Rock Live, Jr.
The Emmy Award-winning 1970s Saturday morning cartoon series that taught history, grammar, math, science and politics through clever, tuneful songs is lighting up Swift Middle School's Stage.
"Ms. Mizer," a nerve-wracked school teacher nervous about her first day of teaching, tries to relax by watching TV when various characters representing facets of her personality emerge from the set and show her how to win her students over with imagination and music, through such beloved Schoolhouse Rock songs as “Just A Bill,” “Unpack Your Adjectives” and “Conjunction Junction.”
Director Devin L. Brown writes:
This is a show for kids that is done by kids. The show has a strong cast of talented kids ages 8 to 14. I'm sure you will know some of the songs and won't be able to help but sing along with them. Come on down to Swift Middle School on July 13th, at 7:00pm. And it's FREE admission!
IT'S FREE! & ONE NIGHT ONLY!
