Oktoberfest at Quassy: A Complete Guide

German music, food and dancers will provide entertainment at Quassy in September.

 

The 21st Annual Oktoberfest Celebration, featuring entertainment, dancing and ethnic food, will take place on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 29 and 30, at  in Middlebury.

Oktoberfest will take place from noon to 6 p.m. both days, at the Fieldside Pavilion.

Admission to the park and Oktoberfest are free. Parking is $6 per vehicles. Buses are $35 to park.

Quassy’s rides operate both days from noon to 6 p.m. There are fees for the rides, food, beverages, games and attractions.

The complete 21st Annual Oktoberfest Celebration schedule is as follows:

Saturday, Sept. 29

  • Amusement rides operate noon to 6 p.m.
  • Rhythm Band performing Oktoberfest music in the pavilion starting at 12:30 p.m.
  • “Harugari Junior Schuhplatters” youth dancers of Hamden, Conn., performing in the pavilion starting at 1 p.m. (During band intermissions)

Sunday, Sept. 30

  • Amusement rides operate noon to 6 p.m.
  • Rhythm Band performing Oktoberfest music in the pavilion starting at 12:30 p.m.
  • Alpenland Tanzer Dancers of New Britain, Conn., performing in the pavilion starting at 1 p.m. (During band intermissions)
