Naugy Freshmen Orientation to be Held Thursday

It's time for students to start a new journey in high school.

The Naugatuck High School administration will offer a freshman orientation for incoming grade nine students on Thursday, Aug. 29, from 9 a.m. to noon.

Students will have an opportunity to hear from upperclassmen regarding NHS policies and procedures and strategies for success. Students will be provided with opportunities to get to know one another and the high school through ice breakers, activities and a scavenger hunt.

At 11 a.m., parents are invited to the NHS choir room for a parent orientation. Finally, students and parents are invited to participate in a culminating activity in the auditorium before being dismissed.
