Vegas Here WE COME!

As professionals in the industry of body art and mod it is no mystery that education is a top priority, and plays a HUGE part of how we as professionals do business. We are heading to Vegas for the annual APP (piercing) conference which focuses on bringing the professional aspect to bod mod whether is is ears or dermals into the light by sharing techniques and advancements technology. One would think that there isn't much to piercing, a needle makes a hole and you stick a piece of jewelry in there right? Well it is far more than just that...believe me! There are nerves that can be damaged, blood vessels that can be traumatized and not to mention how areas heal, or don't in some cases. Personally I love tattoos and the tattooing business, when it comes to piercings I am a total infant and leave it to the professionals that work for me to do their business-just like they let me do mine. I invest in their continued education to make those who come to us leave a bit more educated themselves and although it is costly at times I find that the reward often exceeds the expense. It is a good thing to keep learning and the world as we know it is changing fast...to stay ahead we need to think ahead and that is just what we do!
