Press Release

Fall... a favorite time of year.

The hectic beach activities of summer come to a close and the days are filled with enjoyable seasonal happenings. Pumpkins are harvested, grapes are gathered, colorful leaves enhance the landscape and seasonal beers are poured. Indeed, the season brings many delightful moments, and one that is sure to pique your interest and your taste buds is the 18th Annual CT Craft Brewers’ Beer Festival’s "NAUG-toberfest."

Join us on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012 at the 18th Annual CT Craft Brewers’ Beer Festival where different breweries and brew pubs and wine distributors will be offering up a taste of their best seasonal beers and wines for your tasting pleasure under the Biergarten tents at Jesse Camille’s Restaurant in Naugatuck.

The event runs from 1 to 5 p.m.

Tickets are available at LoCasio Liquors (22 Union City Road, Prospect, CT, Tel. 203.758.6668) and Jesse Camille’s Restaurant (Rt. 63, 615 N. Church Street, Naugatuck, CT, Tel. 203.723.2275. You can also purchase tickets on line (Etix) through Jesse Camille’s website (www.jessecamilles.com); Jesse Camille’s Facebook page, and LoCasio Liquors’ Facebook page.

Tickets are $30 in advance, $35 at the door which includes all beer, wine tasting, plus great live music featuring “The Austrian Boys” and “Johnny I Band."

Great concession offering American and German inspired food (hamburgers, hot dogs, pretzels, pulled pork sandwiches, bratwurst, etc.) is also available from Jesse Camille’s Restaurant at a nominal cost.

Designated Drivers get in free.  State laws prohibit minors from attending.  All proceeds benefit the Camille B. Perugini Memorial Trust Fund which annually awards college scholarships to high school students in the Greater Waterbury and upper Naugatuck Valley area.  Since 1998, the scholarship committee has awarded over $166,000 in scholarships.

This is CT’s longest continually held beer tasting event and one of its best.

We hope to see you all there on Sept. 29th!
