Rosenblatt’s Department Store on Maple Ave. has been a Naugatuck fixture for over a century. Current owner Howard Rosenblatt tells Naugatuck Patch readers more about his shop.

Why Naugatuck?
Third generation business started over 100 years ago by Howard's grandfather. Each generation was and is also a resident of Naugatuck.

What Do You Do?
Clothing store specializing in team sports attire, Naugatuck logo wear, school uniforms and various items for all ages.

What Are You Most Proud Of?
That it has survived this many years and the only independently owned business that has been in the same location for over 75 years.

What’s Something Surprising About Your Business?
That we are still here :) and that how reasonable our sports attire is compared to the big stores.

We've only lived in Naugatuck for two years but it was one of the first businesses we went into and they are the best people: friendly, courteous, and helpful! We totally intend to keep shopping there.

Sincerely nice folks, Julie and Howie. All the years and they've never changed. What a great asset to our community.

Howie is awesome I have shopped in his store for years. And to super Dave, Howie is not following you because he thinks you are trying to steal he is actually trying to be helpful. Why would you even think that?

Great family and a great store. We hope they will be there another 100 yrs.

Rosenblatt's is a true "family"community minded store. They are silent on all they do for this community and others! The old fashion "customer service" where the customer truly comes first is evident when you enter Rosenblatts! Super Dave- go back and you will see your first impression is wrong.
