Flooring America's Redesigned Prospect Showroom to Welcome Capozzi Dental Group at Feb. 25 Networking Event

John Leach, owner of Flooring America stores in Prospect, Waterbury, and Southbury announced that the Flooring America Prospect showroom at 158 Waterbury Road has been redesigned, and that the Capozzi Dental Group, formerly located at 2 Summit Road in Prospect, has moved into adjoining office space. The 2 Summit Road building, which housed Capozzi Dental Group for 12 years, was destroyed by fire the morning of October 19, 2013. Mr. Leach invited Drs. Donald and Kenneth Capozzi to re-establish their practice in newly-created office space adjacent to the Flooring America showroom. 

On February 25th Flooring America will spotlight their showroom’s redesign, and Capozzi Dental Group’s new location, when Flooring America hosts an Out for Business networking event in conjunction with the Waterbury Regional Chamber and its 1,100 members.  

Kenneth R. Capozzi, D.D.S. commented, “John Leach has been wonderful to us. My father and I were devastated to lose our practice. When John heard we were having difficulty finding suitable space, he extended a warm welcome to occupy 2,200 square feet of the Flooring America building.” John Leach added, “This is a real positive for all of Prospect as Capozzi Dental Group serves over 4,000 families in the area, including their Oxford Dental Group location.” 

The practice of Donald P. Capozzi, D.D.S. and Kenneth R. Capozzi, D.D.S. will be joined by four hygienists and two dental assistants in their spacious office suite comprised of five operatory rooms featuring state-of-the-art dental equipment. “Digital technologies will be featured throughout our general dentistry practice,” explained Dr. Kenneth Capozzi. 

Capozzi Dental Group family dentistry provides exams, fillings, root canals, virtually all phases of dental care. “We also welcome emergency cases and new patients,” stated Dr. Donald Capozzi who practiced in Watertown for 46 years. “It’s been a true pleasure to merge my decades-long practice with my son Kenneth’s practice in Prospect and at Oxford Dental Group at 100 Oxford Road. This new Prospect office actually offers a very exciting time for our practice, despite the losses we suffered from the October fire. We are all very delighted to move into state-of-the-art offices next to the very attractive Flooring America showroom.” 

Prior to opening the Prospect office, Dr. Kenneth Capozzi began his career working at his father’s Watertown practice. “We began practicing together in 1977 in my dad’s Watertown office. In 2002, I opened the Prospect office, and my father joined me there in 2008, at which time we also opened our Oxford Dental Group practice. Now we are genuinely very excited to be moving into the digitally-enhanced, state-of-the-art office we have created in collaboration with John Leach and Flooring America.”

John Leach indicated he will plan a grand opening celebration of the redesigned Flooring America store and Capozzi Dental Group offices in the spring of 2014. “We will re-unite with the Waterbury Regional Chamber to host a ribbon cutting celebration in April to which the general public will also be invited. We are very delighted with this pairing with the Capozzi Dental Group, and we're certain it will be very rewarding for everyone in the Prospect region.”
