Snow Heading Toward Naugatuck Today

The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook as a storm system approaches.

Get your shovels, sand and sleds ready because forecasts are calling for anywhere between one to five inches of snow this Saturday.

As a storm approaches, the National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for Naugatuck and much of the state.

Snow is expected to start falling after 9 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 29, and last late into the evening. Winds will be light and temperatures will sit in the 20s and low 30s, according to the National Weather Service.

Sunday should bring partly cloudy skies with a high of 32 degrees, so the snow should stick around for a little.

If you're out enjoying the snow — on a walk, sledding with the kids — or even just from the comforts of your nice cozy house, snap a pic and share it with your Southbury neighbors in the community's Pics & Clips gallery.
