Bob Veillette 5K

The Bob Veillette 5K Road Race & Walk benefits area resident Bob Veillette, who suffers from "locked-in syndrome" as a result of a stroke in 2006, rendering him unable to move, swallow, or speak.  All proceeds support Bob's medical care.  This event is a family friendly 5K on a Sunday afternoon in downtown Waterbury.  There are awards for age group winners, and free t-shirts for participants.  Visit www.bob5k.com for more info.
