A fundraiser will be held from noon to 5:00 pm Dec. 8 at the VFW Post 1946 at 239 Rubber Avenue. The 82nd Post anniversary event will benefit Fisher House at the West Haven Veterans Administration Hospital, to be used for free by wounded military personnel, veterans and their families. The donation is $10. Food and cash bar will be available. For information, call Paul Miller at 203 723-4175.
