Naugatuck Scouting For Food

On Saturday, November 3, 2012, many residences in Naugatuck had a yellow shopping bag left on their door step by Naugatuck's Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts.  This is part of that Boy Scouts of America's annual Scouting For Food program.

On Saturday, November 10, 2012, these scouts will be returning to the same neighborhoods between the hours of 10:00 A.M. and 12:00 P.M. to collect these bags.  Everyone is encouraged to place non-perishable food items into the bags and leave them outside of their residences for collection.  Once collected, the bags will be brought to the Naugatuck Ecumenical Food Bank where the scouts will assist in stocking the shelves.

Thank you for assisting the Boy Scouts of America in our efforts to help our neighbors in need.
