185 Backpacks Given Out In 10 Minutes
Company gives out all of its backpacks to kids in the community.
The Cellular Connection (Verizon Wireless) at 1007 New Haven Road was giving out backpacks filled with school supplies to children in the community. The plan was to give them out between noon and 2 p.m. Saturday. As of 12:20 p.m. Saturday, the company had given out 185 filled backpacks and was getting more in.
