Hibernians to Celebrate St. Patrick's Day

The Naugatuck chapters of the Ancient Order of Hibernians and the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians invite the public to join them on Thursday, March 17th, to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. Starting at 9:00 A.M., a St. Patrick's Day Mass will be held at St. Francis Church.  Following the service, the celebration will move down Church Street to the Town Hall.  The Irish flag will be raised, and Naugatuck's Irish Mayor of the Day, John K. McSherry, will be honored. The final stop of the day's celebration will be at the Naugatuck Historical Society Museum (The Railroad Station) on Water St.  Irish soda bread, beverages, Irish music and a Luck of the Irish drawing will be featured. For additional information, contact Antoinette Cronin, LAOH President, at 203-729-3995.
