Help A CT Girl Battle Burkitt's Lymphoma

Kylie is in remission and continues to get stronger, the family reports. The Connecticut community is helping by donating funds to the family.

Nineteen days ago, Karyn Edwards of Wolcott reported that her little girl Kylie is in remission. In June, Kylie was diagnosed with Burkitt's Lymphoma and underwent at least six months of chemotherapy.

A GoFundMe project was created to help offset Kylie's medical expenses. As of Dec. 12, the community has donated $7,178.

"Kylie continues to get stronger each day despite all her hurdles that she has jumped and continues to jump each day during her remission process," Edwards wrote. "She has more follow ups with hearing screens, ENT and dentist next month along with her regular oncologist appointments. We want to thank you all for all your prayers."
