Naugatuck to Host Holiday Kickoff on the Green

The event will feature many fun activities for children of all ages.

The borough will hold its holiday celebration on the Green on Monday night. The following information about the event comes from the Parks and Rec. department. 

10th Annual Holiday Kickoff!

Join us on the Green Monday, Dec. 9, 2013, from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Event features:
Hayrides! Come welcome Santa!
Bring an ornament to decorate the Town tree!
Hot Chocolate, Cider Snacks available!
Holiday Music! Bonfire! Roasted Chestnuts!
Rudolph and Frosty will make a special appearance!
Our photographer will be available to take your picture with Santa or bring your own camera!
There is no admission for this event, but please bring a non perishable donation for the Food Bank!

Military Tree

In addition to the Town's traditional Christmas Tree on the Green, we are decorating a tree on the Green's gazebo dedicated to our members of the Military serving at home and abroad. Any family member , veteran or grateful citizen may come down to the Green at anytime and hang an ornament on the tree to honor our Service men and women.

Festival of Trees
The United Way is hosting its 7th annual Festival of Trees at ion bank, 87 Church St. The festival will be open to the public on Dec. 9, 2013 during the tree lighting celebration. The wagon rides from the Green will provide transportation to and from the festival.
