The celebrations were postponed to 6 p.m. Sunday, July 6, on Old Firehouse Road in downtown Naugatuck.
Festivities include entertainment, food and family-friendly activities. The fireworks will begin at approximately 9:15 p.m.
"The fireworks company was unable to perform the show on the original rain date of July 5, 2014, and the Borough agreed to reschedule for July 6, 2014," according to the borough of Naugatuck website.
