Leah Ciccone of Wolcott Named Miss Greater Waterbury Outstanding Teen 2013

Local community theatre actress takes home the title of Outstanding Teen

Last night Leah Ciccone was named Miss Greater Waterbury's Outstanding Teen 2013 at the scholarship pageant held at Rotella Magnet School in Waterbury. Ms. Ciccone lives in Wolcott and attends Wolcott High School. During the pageant, she took first place in the talent competition.

I met Ms. Ciccone during auditions for 'How to Succeed in Business (Without Really Trying)' at Seven Angels. She is a lovely young lady, inside and out, and I am so pleased to see that she took home this title.

Ashley Membrino was named Miss Greater Waterbury. Ms. Membrino performed a tap dance for the talent competition and her platform issue was HIV/AIDS.

I wholeheartedly agree with Eric. I am thinking of taking my account to a different bank in protest.Read More (NAUGATUCK Savings & Loan perhaps) May sound silly to some, but in my opinion, changing the name of such an historic institution to me is blasphemous, not to mention sounding stupid. ION indeed!
