The Maple Hill School PTO sponsored a Spring Fling Tag Sale/Vendor Fair Saturday from 8:00am to 2:00pm. Preordered hanging plants were picked up and additional flowers were sold. 

At 10:00am, students participated in a Fun Run on the school grounds. All proceeds from the run will be donated to the MaryEllen Marques Education Fund. Mrs. Marques was a beloved kindergarten teacher at the school since it opened in 1989 until her death last July. The MaryEllen Marques Education Fund will donate to Naugatuck Public Schools in an effort to help teachers pay for necessary classroom supplies that directly benefit students, and the trust will present an annual scholarship to a graduating high school senior who went to Maple Hill School and plans to pursue a degree in education.
