About Newington Mainstage
So sitting around chatting in Fall 2010 Kelly Boucher and Cindy Lesser said, “Hey, let’s start our own theatre company! It’ll be super easy and totally fun!” Well, easy…not so much. But it has turned out to be such an amazing and fun new adventure. We produced and performed in the Connecticut debut of [title of show], played to sold out crowds in June 2011 and so started our awesome journey together.
Last fall we ran our first full season with Mid-life! The Crisis Musical, The Marvelous Wonderettes and Assassins.
We our excited to go into our second season with 3 fantastic shows, a Master Class series and few other special events! We are even more thrilled to announce our new venue, The Newington Town Hall Auditorium.
Our goal is to bring in great shows that are a little off the beaten track to Newington and the surrounding community. We strive to work with good people who also happen to be great performers!
