Open House Held at the Horgan Academy

The kick off to a very busy weekend for these Irish dancers

Many fans dressed in lots of green came out Friday morning for the annual St. Patrick's Day WATR live broadcast party at The Horgan Academy of Irish Dance in Naugatuck. Fresh homemade Irish breads, green bagels, coffee, tea were complimentary and Tom Chute hosted a live WATR Broadcast from 6:30am to 10am while awesome step dancers from the Horgan Academy performed throughout the morning.

Maureen and Irene Horgan greeted the guests and presented Mr. Chute with a golden microphone during the broadcast. Raffles were held for prizes, including tickets to Rain at the Palace and Big Y gift cards. Later in the day, more WATR personalities appeared. Then the dancers that ranged in age from 7 to 25 years old headed out to the next of the numerous appearance in the Greater Waterbury area during the St. Patrick's Day weekend.
