Palace Theater Performance Raises $2,000 for Waterbury Hospital

'Peter Pan' opening night performance benefited Waterbury Hospital

Waterbury – Palace Theater CEO Frank Tavera was pleased to present Waterbury Hospital Development Officer Tim Missett with a check for $2,000, following the theater’s Webster Bank Broadway Series presentation of Peter Pan, which was sponsored in part by the hospital’s tgif (Thank God I’m Female) Women’s Wellness Forum.

As a result of this partnership between both non-profits, five dollars from every ticket sold to the opening night performance of Peter Pan was donated to the hospital.

The 2013 tgif Women’s Wellness Forum titled “Walk on the Wild Side” will take place Friday, April 12, at La Bella Vista in Waterbury, and is sponsored in part by the Palace Theater. This year’s forum will be devoted to promoting women’s foot health and will feature keynote speakers Dr. Marc Bernbach, DPM;  Professional Trainer and Entertainer Michelle Gotay; and WTNH News8 Traffic Reporter and “CT Style” Host Teresa LaBarbera.
