1959 Pink Thunderbird is a comical yet poignant look at the effects war has on both the soldier and those left behind. This play, written by James McLure, brings together the vivacious characters of both Laundry & Bourbon and Lonestar into one complete evening. Set in 1973 and revolving around the Vietnam War, three couples from Maynard, Texas try to come to terms with the choices they have made and the hand life has dealt them. Despite their troubles, their experience seems to teach them that there is always something to be thankful for.

Come see a performance of this delightful comedy presented by the Backyard Theater Ensemble.

The production will be performed in the Black Box at the THOMASTON OPERA HOUSE, 158 Main Street, Thomaston CT and run March 1, 2 8, 9 at 8pm and March 3 & 10 at 2pm
