05/08/13 at 7:30pm

One of the most musically accomplished, critically-acclaimed and commercially popular funk bands of the 70s, Earth Wind & Fire is set to light up the Palace Theater stage during the group’s 2013 Guiding Lights Tour.

Known for their dynamic horn section and energetic stage shows, the six-time Grammy Award winning band will perform the hits that skyrocketed them to stardom, including “Shining Star,” “September,” “Boogie Wonderland,” “Sing a Song,” “Fantasy” and many more.

Declared by Rolling Stone Magazine as the band that “changed the sound of black pop,” Earth Wind & Fire is one of the most successful bands of the 20th century, selling more than 90 million records worldwide and garnering an induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
