Preview of Landmark Community Theatre's 'Rumors' at the Thomaston Opera House

Laugh Till You Cry with NEIL SIMON’S RUMORS, Presented by the Landmark Community Theatre

Landmark Community Theatre (LCT) will present Neil Simon’s RUMORS for five performances beginning March 16th and running through March 24th, 2013 at the historic Thomaston Opera House. This production will mark the first theatre production of the 2013 season.

In Neil Simon’s first farce, several affluent couples gather in a posh suburban residence to celebrate their hosts’ tenth anniversary. However, they discover there are no servants, the hostess is missing, and the host – the deputy mayor of NYC – has been shot. Comic complications arise when given everyone’s upper class status; they decide they need to do everything possible to conceal the evening’s events from the local police. Neil Simon’s RUMORS is sure to have you laughing till you cry.

Naugatuck resident and community theatre veteran Tim Phillips posted: "Jumping back onto stage, reprising the role of Ernie in 'RUMORS' and excited to be going back to the Thomaston Opera House along with good friend and stage wife Colleen Renzullo." Ms. Renzullo is always very funny and Mr. Phillips (Sketch Comedy Night at Phoenix Stage) is her perfect match.

I wholeheartedly agree with Eric. I am thinking of taking my account to a different bank in protest.Read More (NAUGATUCK Savings & Loan perhaps) May sound silly to some, but in my opinion, changing the name of such an historic institution to me is blasphemous, not to mention sounding stupid. ION indeed!
