Preview of Naugatuck Community Band's Holiday Concerts

'Sounds of the Season, Songs Old and New' will be presented three times

This year the Naugatuck Community Band, under the direction of Charley Marenghi, will be presenting three performances of their winter concert Sounds of the Season, Song Old and New. Last year's Sounds of the Season concert was memorable and this year's promises to be a good one.

After their smash Halloween concert entitled Music for a Darkened Theater, the band will return to the Strand Theater in Seymour on Saturday, December 15, 2012. The holiday concert will start at 7:00 pm. The Strand is located at 165 Main Street  Seymour, CT 06483 and has ample parking available across the street and next to the theater.

The band's hometown concert will be held on Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012 at the United Methodist Church in Naugatuck.Start time will be 2:00 pm. The United Methodist Church is located at 214 Meadow Street Naugatuck.

The final concert will be held at the Meriden Mall on Dec. 19, 2012. The time is to be determined, but it will be in the evening. The Meriden Mall is located at 470 Lewis Avenue, Meriden, CT 06451.
