Preview of Round Table Players' 'Into The Woods"

The music of Stephen Sondheim and fairy tale characters in Branford

Branford CT - The Round Table Players will proudly present Into the Woods beginning September 21, 2012. Into the Woods, with music and lyrics by the amazing Stephen Sondheim and book by James Lapine, was originally directed on Broadway by James Lapine with orchestrations by Jonathan Tunick. This production is directed by Robert Esposito and will be held at the First Congregational Church at 1009 Main Street, Branford CT. The show runs September 21, 22, 28 and 29 at 7:00 pm with matinee performances September 22 and 29 at 2:00 pm. The September 22 matinee has already sold out. Tickets are $15 for general admission and $10 for children under 12 and senior citizens. A family four pack is available for $40. For reservations call (203) 506-6228.

This is a kind of fractured fairy tale musical with a wonderful score. The talented Lance Gaston ("Judas" in ) will appear in this production. Since the Round Table Players are a 100% volunteer effort, their only source of income is ticket sales, an annual cabaret fundraiser, and this GoFundMe page: http://www.gofundme.com/up0wo
