Preview of 'The Foursome' at the Waterbury Country Club

Four men will read the parts of four golfers in this staged reading.

Local theater celebrity Tim Phillips is directing a one-night only fundraiser for the United Way. The show is a staged reading of the play, "The Foursome", a funny play about four guys having a college reunion on a golf course (each tee is a seperate scene). Playing the foursome are John Ozerhoski of WZBG's Backstage with Johnny O, Tony Sposato, Ray Esposito and Steve Chiappolne. Mr. Phillips tells me that he feels very fortunate to get these for fine actors for this production. "All four bring a lot to the table."

The event is Thursday, May 2nd, at the Waterbury Country Club.

Tickets are $75 a person, with all proceeds going to the United Way. Contact Mary Rosengrant-Chiappalone (marynat@aol.com) for more details. It includes dinner and more, starting at 5:30 p.m. Thursday. The performance begins at 6:30.
