Preview of 'The Last Romance' at Seven Angels Theatre

The first show in Seven Angels' 22nd mainstage season

Seven Angels Theatre in Waterbury kicks off their 22nd season with a real gem of a play. On October 18 The Last Romance by Joe DiPietro, comes to the intimate 300 seat theatre with a fantastic cast that includes Marie Wallace, Ron Crawford, Geraldine LiBrandi and  Eric Stephenson.

About the play… A crush can make anyone feel young again—even a widower named Ralph. On an ordinary day in a routine life, Ralph decides to take a different path on his daily walk—one that leads him to an unexpected second chance at love. Relying on a renewed boyish charm, Ralph attempts to woo the elegant, but distant, Carol. Defying Carol’s reticence—and his lonely sister’s jealousy—Ralph embarks on the trip of a lifetime and regains a happiness that seemed all but lost. A heart-warming comedy about the transformative power of love. You’re sure to fall in love with this tale that mixes heartbreak with humor and opera with laughter. “Remarkably free of cliché… this golden-years love story casts a bewitching spell.” Variety.
