Preview of 'The Wizard of Oz' at Chase Collegiate School

Waterbury's Chase Middle School Theater Company presents the classic tale

Naugatuck resident and eighth grader at Chase Collegiate School, Sarah Tsacoyannis, will star as “The Good Witch” in the school’s upcoming production of the Wizard of Oz.

A childhood favorite, the Wizard of Oz production by Chase's Middle School Theater Company is sure to captivate audiences of all ages. Features include Over the Rainbow, the adorable Munchkins and the truth about the Wizard. In February, the Chase Collegiate Middle School will present their version of this timely classic.  Director Robert Cutrofello added, “We want to respect the archetypes, but update and expand the play, and Ms. Tsacoyannis helps the cast do just that.”

Another Naugatuck resident and eighth grader at Chase, Joseph DiSanto, will also be in the play in the role of "Farmhand."
