Directed by Devin L. Brown (1st annual Halo Award Nominee for Best Comedic Actress in a Play or Musical for her portrayal of "Mae Peterson" in Watertown High School's production of Bye Bye Birdie back in the spring of 2004)
Choreography by Lisa A. Hamel (who was the "Sad Girl" and Dance Captain of that same performance)
This high energy show is sure to make you laugh and these catchy songs will get you humming along. The cast has been working hard since the end of June to bring Whimsicality's first full length musical to the Watertown Stage. Watertown High School is located at 324 French Street Watertown, CT 06795
The teens in this show have spent the better part of their summer in rehearsals for these performances. The taped music will be augmented by a small band and (proud mom alert!) my son CJ Janis will be on the drums. will be playing the role of the overbearing mother "Mae Peterson" a la the actors who have played . Zach will be singing and dancing in heels no less. The lovely Christine Manalo (a member of the ensemble in ) will be the pianist in the pit.
