Leadership Greater Waterbury Brings “Enhanced Experience” to Palace Theater

To partake in Entrees & Encores: "The Enhanced Experience," patrons must use a Palace Theater Entrees & Encores gift card at one of the participating restaurants.

WATERBURY –A project team of the Leadership Greater Waterbury (LGW) class of 2014 is collaborating with the Palace Theater to enhance the performing art center’s Entrees & Encores restaurant-and-gift card program for a special limited time initiative that brings added value to the theater’s “Dinner and a Show” experience.

Entrees & Encores: “The Enhanced Experience” is an opportunity to add value to a patron’s dinner-and-show evening out on either Saturday, May 3, for the 8 p.m. performance of HAIR or Thursday, May 8,  for the 7:30 p.m. performance of Simply Sinatra starring Steve Lippia.

“The idea that the Leadership group had was to showcase the best of Waterbury. By adding value to the existing experience of dinner and a show, their goal is to encourage the public to think ‘Waterbury’ for a fabulous evening out,” states Sheree Marcucci, Marketing and Public Relations Officer for the Palace Theater.

Josh Novo of the Leadership Waterbury project team and an employee of Post University echoed that sentiment and added, “We hope to build a better appreciation of Waterbury, and building on the Entrees & Encores program seemed a perfect vehicle to accomplish that.”

Other members of the project team include Bruce Trammell, NSI; Deb Massicotte, Naugatuck Valley Savings and Loan; and Manny Martinez the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Waterbury.  Leadership Greater Waterbury, a program created by the Waterbury Regional Chamber, allows business professionals in the Greater Waterbury area to build a stronger awareness of the area and the opportunity to interact with civic, professional, and community leaders.
